Ronnie Hawkins
Ronnie Hawkins was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Hawkins kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Renaldo & Clara" (1977), "The Last Waltz" (1978) and the Kris Kristofferson drama "Heaven's Gate" (1980). He also appeared in the action film "Snake Eater" (1989) with Lorenzo Lamas. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Sodbusters" (Showtime, 1993-94). He also appeared in the TV special "Robbie Robertson: Going Home" (Disney, 1994-95). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Secret Service" (NBC, 1992-93). Recently, he tackled roles on "Sound Affects" (VH1, 1999-2000) and "Doc" (ION Television Network, 2000-05). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "The Band" (1995-96). Most recently, Hawkins acted in "The Life and Hard Times of Guy Terrifico" (2008) with Kris Kristofferson. Ronnie Hawkins died on May 29, 2022 at the age of 87.
