Roger Cross

Born in Jamaica, Cross moved with his family to Vancouver, British Columbia, when he was 11 years old. He earned a degree in aviation from Trinity Western University before beginning stunt work for Canadian-made TV shows like "21 Jump Street" (Fox 1987-1991). This developed an interest in acting, and by the early 1990s, Cross had landed guest spots on shows like "Wiseguy" (CBS 1987-1990) and "The Hat Squad" (CBS 1992-93), before nabbing his first recurring role as Officer Terry Cooper on the crime dramedy "The Commish" (ABC 1991-96). Throughout the remainder of the '90s and early 2000s, Cross landed recurring roles on some of TV's most popular shows, including "The X-Files" (Fox 1993-2002) and "Stargate SG-1" (Showtime 1997-2002 / Syfy 2003-07), as well as a starring role on the popular Canadian science fiction series "First Wave" (Syfy 1998-2001). After his time on the hit "24" came to an end, Cross's next breakout performance came in 2012, when he was cast as one of the leads on the Canadian time-travel series "Continuum." The show aired on the Syfy network in the U.S. and was renewed for a third season in June of 2013.
