Rob Stone

Rob Stone gained popularity during the 1980s as a teen actor who appeared on several of the era's most popular television shows. Stone made one-off appearances on such shows as the "All in the Family" spinoff "The Jeffersons," the prep-school-set "Diff'rent Strokes" spinoff "The Facts of Life," the original version of the science fiction thriller "V," before signing on with the sweet-natured family comedy "Mr. Belvedere," appearing in nearly all of the show's episodes as the character Kevin Owens from 1985 through 1990. The comedy/family show also starred Christopher Hewett, Ilene Graff, and Bob Uecker. After it went off the air, Stone secured the role of one of the "head geeks," Louis Skolnick, in a pilot based on the popular 1984 comedy "Revenge of the Nerds" which remained unaired after not being picked up by the network. After appearances on the high school cop drama "21 Jump Street" and the legal drama "Matlock," Stone retired from acting.
