Rick Ravanello

Rick Ravanello is a Canadian character actor working in film and television. He began appearing on TV in 1997, working on several Vancouver-based productions, including two episodes of the mystery drama "The Outer Limits." After several more small TV parts throughout the late '90s and early 2000s, Ravanello made a breakthrough on the big screen when he landed a supporting part in the 2002 drama "Hart's War," as Major Joe Clary; the World War II-based story starred Bruce Willis and Colin Farrell. From there, Ravanello made brief appearances on such big-name crime dramas as "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "24," and "CSI: NY." Later, things began heating up for Ravanello, with a three-episode run on the sci-fi series "Gemini Division," four episodes on the family drama "Lincoln Heights," and four episodes on the hit Showtime series "Weeds." Though a significant leading role has eluded him, Ravanello has racked up one-off spots on an impressive array of shows, including the comedy "Monk," the soapy drama "Desperate Housewives," and the superhero series "Smallville."
