Richard Young

Richard Young's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Young landed roles in various films, including "Night Call Nurses" (1972), the action movie "Fly Me" (1973) with Pat Anderson and "Let's Do It Again" (1975). He also appeared in "Virgin Confessions" (1976), the Jack Palance drama "Cocaine Cowboys" (1979) and the action flick "High Risk" (1981) with James Brolin. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "The Ice Pirates" (1984) with Robert Urich, "Friday the 13th - A New Beginning" (1985) with Melanie Kinnaman and "Saigon Commandos" (1988). He also appeared in the drama "1969" (1988) with Kiefer Sutherland. In the nineties, Young lent his talents to projects like "Big Bird's Birthday or Let Me Eat Cake" (PBS, 1990-91), "L' Oeil de la Veuve" (1991) and "The Cutting Edge" with D.B. Sweeney (1992). His credits also expanded to "Getting Away With Murder" with Dan Aykroyd (1996) and "Harriet the Spy" (1996) starring Michelle Trachtenberg. Young most recently acted on "Rookie Blue" (ABC, 2009-2015).
