Richard Norton

Australian actor Richard Norton has appeared in many Hong Kong martial arts films and has been a fight choreographer and stunt coordinator. His first acting role came in the 1980 film "The Octagon," a role given to him by his friend Chuck Norris. His climactic fight scene with the star made Norton's film debut a memorable one. A year later he co-starred in the hit adventure "Force: Five," and he had a supporting role in the gymnastics-themed fight film "Gymkata" in '85. He played villains in the films of Hong Kong director Sammo Hung Kam-Bo, appearing as "Caucasian Assassin" in "Xia ri fu xing"("Twinkle, Twinkle, Lucky Stars") and "Bandit" in "Foo gwai lit che" ("Millionaire's Express"). In 1990 he costarred with Cynthia Rothrock in "China O'Brien," the action film about a former police officer, and reprised his role in the sequel, "China O'Brien II," before working with her again on two "Rage and Honor" films. Another frequent costar is the martial arts legend Jackie Chan, with whom he appeared in "Sing si lip yan" in 1993 and the 1997 comedic effort "Mr. Nice Guy." He also appeared several times in friend Chuck Norris's long-running series "Walker, Texas Ranger."
