Read Morgan was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Morgan began his acting career appearing in various films, such as the David Niven comedy adaptation "Ask Any Girl" (1959), the horror flick "Beach Girls and the Monster" (1965) with Jon Hall and "Fort Utah" (1967). He also appeared in "Hostile Guns" (1967), the Elvis Presley musical comedy "Easy Come, Easy Go" (1967) and the James Garner suspenseful adaptation "Marlowe" (1969). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the dramedy "Your Three Minutes Are Up" (1973) with Beau Bridges, the Marcel Marceau fantasy "Shanks" (1974) and "Breakheart Pass" (1975) with Charles Bronson. He also appeared in the action film "Cannonball" (1976) with David Carradine. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the adventure "Time After Time" (1979) with Malcolm McDowell, "Blood Beach" (1981) with David Huffman and the Peter Weller fantastical comedy "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai: Across the 8th Dimension" (1984). He also appeared in the Michael J. Fox smash hit comedic adventure "Back to the Future" (1985) and "Just Between Friends" (1986). Morgan more recently acted in the Mel Gibson smash hit action movie "Maverick" (1994).
