Rade Markovic
Rade Markovic launched his acting career at the tender age of six. Markovic began his acting career with roles in such films as "Touha zvana Anada" (1971), "Kiklop" (1982) and "Variola Vera" (1982). He also appeared in the Bud Cort comedy "The Secret Diary of Sigmund Freud" (1984) and the Svetolik Mikacevic sci-fi feature "Lijepe Zene Prolaze Kroz Grad" (1986). His film career continued throughout the eighties and the nineties in productions like the Gala Videnovic drama "Bal na vodi" (1987), "Migrations" (1987) with Isabelle Huppert and "The Gold Rimmed Glasses" (1987) with Philippe Noiret. He also appeared in "Sabirini Centar" (1989) and the comedy "Tito and Me" (1993) with Dimitrie Vojnov. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Ubistvo S Predumislajajem" (1996), the documentary "Serbie, annee zero" (2001) with Goran Markovic and the Boris Milivojevic crime flick "Zemlja Istine, Ljubavi i Slobode" (2001). Markovic most recently directed the foreign sequel "Drug Crni u Narodnooslobodilackoj borbi" (2009) with Dragan Jovanovic.
