Peter Reckell

Peter Reckell was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "As the World Turns" (CBS, 1955-2010). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Bob Hope's Comedy Salute To the Soaps" (1984-85), "The Tenth Annual Circus of the Stars" (CBS, 1985-86) and "The Wildest West Show of the Stars" (CBS, 1985-86). He was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for "Days of Our Lives" in 2008. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Locked Up: A Mother's Rage" (CBS, 1991-92). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Hope & Gloria" (NBC, 1994-96). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Days of Our Lives: One Stormy Night" (NBC, 1991-92) and "The 69th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" (NBC, 1995-96). Reckell continued to exercise his talent in the nineties and the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" (NBC, 1999-2000), "Prism Awards 2001" and "The 28th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" (NBC, 2000-01). His credits also expanded to "Broken Bridges" (2004) and "Street Dreams" with Paul Rodriguez Jr. (2009). Reckell most recently appeared on "The 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" (CBS, 2009-2010).
