Paul Cook

Paul Cook brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Cook began his acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the horror sequel "Damien - Omen II" (1978) with William Holden, "The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle" (1979) with Malcolm McLaren and "Somewhere in Time" (1980). He also appeared in the documentary "D.O.A." (1981) with Johnny Rotten. He also appeared in the TV movie "Dummy" (CBS, 1978-79). Cook also contributed music to "American Pop" (1981) starring Ron Thompson. In the eighties, Cook's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "Party, Party" (1982), the Gary Oldman dramatic biopic "Sid and Nancy" (1986) and "Train of Dreams" (1988) with Jason St Amour. Cook's music was also featured in "Whatever Happened to Harold Smith?" (2001) with Tom Courtenay, the dramedy "Lost In Translation" (2003) with Scarlett Johansson and the Brad Pitt box office smash action picture "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" (2005). His music was also featured in "Control" (2007) and the Dave "The Edge" Evans documentary "It Might Get Loud" (2009). Cook's music was most recently used in the dramatic musical "The Runaways" (2010) with Kristen Stewart.
