Patrice Godin

After his first appearance in TV movie "Craque la vie!" (1994), Canadian actor Patrice Godin was featured in dozens of Canadian French-language television series and movies. Born in the Lac-St-Joseph section of Quebec, Godin followed his first foray into television at age 26 with an appearance in French feature film "Not Me!" (1996), working alongside Louise Portal. Following this performance, Godin made a series of appearances in a number of films, most of them made for television. He also had recurring roles on the short-lived series "Les hértiers Duval" (1996) and "La vie, la vie" (Radio-Canada 2001). Possessing a handsome physique and decent acting chops, Godin played a variety of different roles and characters, working on projects that allowed him to call upon the versatility of his talent. In 2008 Godin played the part of Mario in the made for TV drama "En plein coeur." The movie told the story of two mobsters-one a teenager, the other in his 30s-who forge a bond while stealing and selling Jeeps on the streets of Montreal. In 2014, Godin landed a role on the TV mini-series "La marraine," a crime drama in which Godin starred as a police detective determined to bring down a family of drug lords led by the mysterious La marraine, or Godmother.
