Pat Hogan

Pat Hogan was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Early on, Hogan mostly landed roles in various films, including "Fixed Bayonets" (1951), "Arrowhead" (1953) with Charlton Heston and "Back to God's Country" (1953). He also appeared in the adaptation "Gun Fury" (1953) with Rock Hudson. He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Davy Crockett" (ABC, 1954-55). His film career continued throughout the fifties in productions like "Sign of the Pagan" (1954), the Victor Mature biopic "Chief Crazy Horse" (1955) and "Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier" (1955) with Fess Parker. He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Kiss of Fire" (1955) with Jack Palance and the western "Smoke Signal" (1955) with Dana Andrews. During the latter half of his career, he tackled roles in the historical drama "Seventh Cavalry" (1956) with Randolph Scott, the adaptation "The Last Frontier" (1956) with Victor Mature and the Brian Keith adventure "Ten Who Dared" (1960). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Texas John Slaughter" (ABC, 1958-1961). Hogan more recently acted in the Richard Beymer dramatic adaptation "Adventures of a Young Man" (1962).
