Papoose

Rapper Papoose was born New York and raised in Brooklyn. After producing and selling mixtapes, a DJ at a commercial radio station invited Papoose to his radio show. This gave him exposure to other artists like DJ Kay Slay, and Busta Rhymes. In 2005, he won the Justo Mixtape Award for Best Underground Artist His music has been featured in films "Righteous Kill" (2008), "Brooklyn's Finest" (2010). The performer also was in the VH1 special "Remy & Papoose: A Merry Mackie Holiday" (2017) and the series "Remy & Papoose: Meet the Mackies" (2018). More recently, he was cast in "Love & Hip Hop" (2011-20).
