Olivier Hussenot

Olivier Hussenot was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Hussenot's earliest roles were in film, including the Gina Lollobrigida romance "Fanfan la Tulipe" (1953), the crime drama "Obsession" (1954) with Michèle Morgan and the crime picture "Bedevilled" (1955) with Anne Baxter. He also appeared in the period drama "The Grand Maneuver" (1956) with Gerard Philipe. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the comedy adaptation "House of Lovers" (1958) with Gerard Philipe, the mystery "Inspector Maigret" (1958) with Jean Gabin and "The Roots of Heaven" (1958) with Errol Flynn. He also appeared in "The Sunday of Life" (1965). Nearing the end of his career, he continued to act in the Rex Harrison comedic adaptation "A Flea in Her Ear" (1968), "L' escadron Volapuk" (1970) and the Francoise Rasay comedy "Pas Folle la Guepe" (1972). Hussenot more recently acted in "La Part du feu" (1978). Hussenot passed away in August 1978 at the age of 65.
