Noémie Lvovsky

An accomplished French screenwriter and director, Noémie Lvovsky is arguably most widely recognized as an actress. After various under-the-radar productions as writer and/or director, Lvovsky branched out into appearing on-screen in Yvan Attal's well-received 2001 comedy "My Wife Is an Actress," which led to a César Award nomination for her supporting role. Other notable films to feature Lvovsky are music-themed drama "Backstage" and the lush period piece "Farewell, My Queen." In 2012, she unveiled "Camille Rewinds," a nostalgic comedy that she starred in, wrote, and directed. In addition to featuring an impressive supporting cast, the film features French stars Jean-Pierre Léaud and Mathieu Amalric in bit parts.
