Nikohl Boosheri
Blowing audiences away with her breathtaking debut performance, Nikohl Boosheri became a well known actor after starring in the tender, independent drama "Circumstance" (2011). Born in Pakistan to Iranian parents Boosheri and her family relocated to Canada, where she grew up from age two. She took an interest in acting early on, and regularly earned accolades for her work in school productions. Continuing on to college, Boosheri was happily studying theater at Simon Fraser University with no plans to take her acting beyond the stage when a talent scout saw her starring in a performance of Delinquent Theatre's "Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead" and approached her afterward to offer her representation. Before long, Boosheri had booked her first job: the starring role in "Circumstance." The role required Boosheri to connect with her Iranian heritage in a way she had never done before, and the experience was both personally and professionally powerful. She would go on to star in the comedy "Farah Goes Bang" (2013) and in the thriller "Inner Fear" (2015). In 2018, Boosheri joined the cast of the popular science fiction series "Altered Carbon" (Netflix, 2018-) playing the role of Nalan Ertekin.
