Nikita Leigh-Pritchard

During her upbringing in Melbourne, Australia, a young Nikita Leigh-Pritchard studied performance at Drama with a Difference and the Screen Actors Studio. Just prior to her graduation from the latter in 2006, she made her acting debut on an episode of the Australian police drama "Blue Heelers" (Seven Network 1994-2006), which paved the way for work in short films, commercials, and the comedy movie "The Wedding Party" (2010). From there, Leigh-Pritchard landed a recurring role on the drama series "House Husbands" (Nine Network 2012-) and a supporting part in the anthology horror film "The Turning" (2013). Leigh-Pritchard put her comic chops to good use in her first regular television role. She joined the original cast of the Australian sitcom "Please Like Me" (2013-16), which focused on a young man exploring his homosexuality for the first time. Leigh-Pritchard played the character Niamh, a friend to hero Josh, played by series creator Josh Thomas.
