Nick Wright
American sports broadcaster Nick Wright was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. Graduating from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 2007, Wright began his career as weekend host for a radio station based in his hometown, KCSP 610 AM. He grew a solid fan base and began hosting his own weekly program "What's Wright with Nick Wright?". The Kansas City newspaper, The Pitch, named him the best sports personality in 2010. In 2016, Wright moved from radio to television as a regular contributor to the studio shows of Fox Sports 1. When he stepped in as co-host of "The Herd with Colin Cowherd" (FS1, 2015-) along with former wide receiver Cris Carter, the network noticed their chemistry on air and paired them up for a morning sports news show "First Things First" (FS1, 2017-). Returning to radio, he hosted his weekly radio show "What's Wright" on SiriusXM in 2018. He started a podcast of the same name with his son, Damonza Byrd in 2022.
