Jenna (Jane Krakowski) tries to make friends with the writers to solidify her place at "TGS" before the new cast member is hired. Meanwhile, Tracy (Tracy Morgan) fears for his life when two celebrities die and he believes he’s the next to bite the dust. Scott Adsit, Judah Friedlander and Keith Powell also star.

Lockhart/Gardner defends Stephanie Engler, the owner of an adultery Web site, after one of her users is murdered; however, the civil case turns criminal when the murder is pinned on Stephanie. Alicia goes ballistic on Kalinda about her one-night stand with Peter, causing Kalinda to contemplate leaving the firm.

Hannah tries to hide mounting anxiety about her book from her visiting parents. Meanwhile, Marnie is stunned by news that Charlie has started a successful app company; Adam meets a boisterous woman in AA (Carol Kane) who coaxes him into a date with her daughter; and Ray's aversion to college parties gives Shoshanna pause.

When Bull assists the U.S. Attorney's Office with a manslaughter trial against a real estate magnate, Andrew Withrow (Toby Leonard Moore), he finds himself once again opposing Diana Lindsay (Jill Flint), his romantic rival. As the case gets underway, Bull's penchant for winning goes into overdrive when he realizes the defendant is a clinical sociopath determined to use Diana to antagonize him during the proceedings.

Liza discovers an exciting new author, whose pitch takes an unexpected turn. Kelsey avoids the wrath of Charles, and escapes upstate with Josh and Lauren.
