Casey Kasem narrates the rise and fall and rise again of the gang's band, Zack Attack. It starts with their garage-band beginnings and works into fame and fortune. The band breaks up with Zack falling for their publicist and arguing with the other members. The other members branch out into different careers.
Sam (Scott Bakula) leaps into a mental institution and is soon electro-shocked into manifesting multiple personalities from his previous personas.
