Nancy Malone

Nancy Malone worked on a variety of projects during her entertainment career. Malone worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Kraft Television Theater" (NBC, 1946-1959), "The Brighter Day" (CBS, 1953-1962) and "The First Hundred Years" (CBS, 1950-52). She also contributed to "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964). In the seventies and the eighties, Malone devoted her time to various credits, such as "The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing" with Burt Reynolds (1973), "Capricorn One" (1978) starring Elliott Gould and "The Colbys" (ABC, 1985-87). She also worked on "The Imposter" (1988) starring Anthony Geary. Shifting to the small screen in more recent years, Malone directed a number of television programs, including "Beverly Hills 90210" (Fox, 1990-2000) and "Key West" (Fox, 1992-93). She followed this honor with a gig on "Central Park West" (CBS, 1995-96). Malone last directed "The Guardian" (CBS, 2001-04). Malone was nominated for an Outstanding Individual Achievement In Directing In a Drama Series Primetime Emmy Award for "The Trials of Rosie O'Neill" in 1992. Malone passed away in May 2014 at the age of 79.
