Murphy Cross
Murphy Cross was a talented actor who starred in a number of television shows. He also was featured in the miniseries "Scruples" (1979-1980). Cross launched his entertainment career by acting in films like the musical "Annie" (1982) with Albert Finney. He also starred in the TV movies "Torn Between Two Lovers" (CBS, 1978-79) and "Happy Endings (CBS)" (CBS, 1982-83). He continued to work steadily in television throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing on "Night Court" (NBC, 1983-1992) and "Maximum Security" (HBO, 1984-85). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Victim of Love" (CBS, 1990-91). His career progressed to film, including a role in "Perfect" (1985) with John Travolta. More recently, he tackled roles on "The George Carlin Show" (1993-95), "Touched By an Angel" (CBS, 1994-2003) and "Family Law" (CBS, 1999-2002). He also appeared in "Numb3rs" (CBS, 2004-2010). He also was featured in the TV movie "Born Into Exile" (NBC, 1996-97). Cross most recently acted on "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" (CW, 2015-).
