Monique Ganderton

Sexy enough to be a model and physically tough enough to do stunt work, versatile Canadian Monique Ganderton is a rare breed. With her impressive stunts resume, it should come as no shock that Ganderton was a high school athlete (She also taught snowboarding classes for a brief span), but her career began in the modeling industry upon her move to Toronto. After viewing the intensity and passion of other stunt workers, Ganderton decided to switch her career path, and she made her stunt work debut on the Al Pacino-starring 2003 action-drama "The Recruit." Throughout the decade, she was a hot commodity in her field, doubling for actresses like Rebecca Romijn, Sigourney Weaver, Mandy Moore, and Jane Lynch. She was never lacking a quality stunt job--some of her notable projects (including many of the superhero variety) include the adventure-fantasy update "Fantastic Four" (along with its sequel, "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer"), the adventure-drama series "Flash Gordon," and the Clark Kent-centric drama series "Smallville." But with her gorgeous appearance and engaging screen presence, Ganderton has managed to do some actual acting of her own; balanced by her own stunt credits, she racked up appearances on "Smallville," the horror-fantasy series "Supernatural," and the smash vampire romance "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse."
