Actress Miranda Rae Mayo enjoyed recurring roles on "Days of Our Lives" (NBC, 1965-), "Pretty Little Liars" (Freeform, 2010-) and "Blood & Oil" (ABC, 2015) but was perhaps best-known for her role as firefighter Stella Kidd on "Chicago Fire" (NBC, 2012-). Born in Fresno, CA Mayo first began performing in various high school and community theater productions before relocating to Los Angeles where she landed her first screen role in an episode of "Law and Order: LA" (NBC, 2010-11). In 2013 she was cast as Patreece Sheibani in "Girlfriends" (UPN, 2000-08) spin-off "The Game" (The CW, 2006-2015) and a year later began an intermittent stint on soap opera institution "Days of Our Lives" (NBC, 1965-) as magazine editor Zoe Browning. Mayo then joined the cast of teen mystery "Pretty Little Liars" (Freeform, 2010-) for a seven-episode spell as Emily's love interest Talia Sandoval, played missing maid Vera Machiado in the second season of "True Detective" (HBO, 2014-15) and made her film debut with a minor part in EDM flop "We Are Your Friends" (2015). Mayo then played the ill-fated Rose in horror master Wes Craven's final production credit, "The Girl in the Photographs" (2015), and Lacey Briggs, the feisty daughter of Don Johnson's tycoon, in the short-lived drama "Blood and Oil" (ABC, 2015). After first appearing as brash firefighter Stella Kidd in the fourth season of Dick Wolf's inaugural Windy City drama, "Chicago Fire" (NBC, 2012-), Mayo was then upgraded to a series regular for the fifth.
