Mike 'Greeny' Greenberg

Anchor; Born and raised in New York City, Mike Greenberg graduated from Northwestern University in 1989 with a degree in Journalism and began his professional career working as a sports reporter at radio station WMAQ-AM in Chicago. In 1996, he became one of the first hosts of the ESPN spin-off network ESPNEWS. With his new position, Greenberg also became one of the anchors on his parent company's signature show "SportsCenter" (ESPN, 1979-). In 2000, Greenberg partnered with retired defensive tackle Mike Golic for an ESPN Radio show, and in 2006 "Mike & Mike in the Morning" (ESPN2, 2006-2017) began a TV simulcast. Since its inception, the show was a consistent bright spot for the network, both in radio and on television. With Golic as the tough former athlete and Greenberg playing the role of sports nerd, the two held boisterous and funny debates, mostly revolving around professional football. Greenberg also hosted the game show "Duel" (ABC, 2007-08) while continuing his duties on "Mike & Mike." In 2016, the two were inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame. In 2017, it was announced that Greenberg would leave "Mike & Mike" and launch a new show on ESPN. That same year, he began co-hosting the rebooted "Battle of the Network Stars" (ABC 2017-), and "Get Up!" debuted on ESPN in April 2018.
