Miguel Fernandes
Miguel Fernandes was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Fernandes's early acting career mostly consisted of roles in various films, such as the Marilyn Chambers horror film "Rabid" (1977), the thriller "The Kidnapping of the President" (1980) with William Shatner and "The Amateur" (1981) with John Savage. He also appeared in the Fred Astaire horror flick "Ghost Story" (1981) and the Peter Fonda horror feature "Spasms" (1986). He also appeared in the TV movie "Dream House" (CBS, 1981-82). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Sorry, Wrong Number" (USA, 1989-1990). Following that project, Fernandes worked on the television programs "Secret Service" (NBC, 1992-93) and "Highlander: The Series" (1992-98). During these years, he additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in the crime feature "True Believer" (1989) with James Woods. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Poltergeist: The Legacy" (Syfy, 1995-2000). He also was featured in the TV movies "Down Came a Blackbird" (1995-96), "The Awakening" (CBS, 1995-96) and "Family of Cops" (CBS, 1995-96). He also appeared in "Gridlock" (NBC, 1995-96). Fernandes most recently acted on "Relic Hunter" (1999-2002).
