Mickey Knox

Mickey Knox was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Knox appeared in such films as "I Walk Alone" (1947), "Killer McCoy" (1947) and "Jungle Patrol" (1948). He also appeared in "The Accused" (1949), "Knock on Any Door" (1949) with Humphrey Bogart and the Stephen McNally drama "City Across the River" (1949). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the sixties, appearing in the thrilling adaptation "The Tenth Victim" (1965) with Ursula Andress, the Robert Wagner comedy "The Biggest Bundle of Them All" (1968) and "Beyond the Law" (1968). He also appeared in "Wild 90" (1968) with Norman Mailer. Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in the horror flick "Bloody Bird" (1987) with David Brandon, the crime picture "Rent-A-Cop" (1988) with Burt Reynolds and the Damon Martin horror sequel "Ghoulies II" (1988). He also appeared in the comedy "Buy and Cell" (1989) with Robert Carradine and the adaptation "Roger Corman's Frankenstein Unbound" (1990) with John Hurt. Knox last acted in the action movie "Lansky" (1999) with Richard Dreyfuss. Knox passed away in November 2013 at the age of 92.
