Michael Welch

Michael Welch has amassed a long string of acting credits in TV series and feature films including the popular teen vampire saga "Twilight." Born in Los Angeles, he started acting at the early age of 10 with a turn on the enormously popular "Frasier," playing a young version of Niles. In the same year, he had his first feature film experience in "Star Trek: Insurrection," earning a Young Artist Award for his performance. He next appeared in guest and recurring roles in a broad variety of series, including the long-running supernatural drama "The X-Files" and the sitcom featuring Christina Applegate as a single mother, "Jesse." He landed a regular role as the younger brother of the girl who talks to God on "Joan of Arcadia," earning further acclaim. He was cast as the All-American handsome teen in feature films such as the horror flicks "All the Boys Love Mandy Lane" and "Day of the Dead." He gained greater exposure as a recurring supporting character in "The Twilight Saga," the series of vampire romances featuring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, based on the books by Stephenie Meyer.
