An Army officer is captured by Pawnee Indians who have left the reservation and bought faulty guns. The undercover officer is trying to find who is selling the guns. Earp has to rescue the officer but to do so must find the seller.
A horse race between horse owner Milt Canyon and Bullhead turns violent when the Indian pony wins. With Canyon dead the locals want to lynch Bullhead. Earp has to keep peace by convincing Bullhead to return to Dodge City for trial.
Now in the heart of Texas, Earp is about to find the last survivor of the Dry Gulcher gang, who killed his Indian friend. But his task happens to be even tougher than expected, for the bandit is protected by a rancher and his daughter.
