With encouragement from Liz (Tina Fey) and Tracy (Tracy Morgan), Jack (Alec Baldwin) begins a search for his real father. When Tracy introduces his newly discovered illegitimate son to his friends at "TGS," Liz and Pete (Scott Adsit) question the son’s intentions. Meanwhile, Jenna (Jane Krakowski) and Liz fight for the spotlight when Jenna gets recognition for one of Liz’s ideas. Also stars Jack McBrayer, Keith Powell and Katrina Bowden.

Jack (Alec Baldwin) recommends that Liz (Tina Fey) start seeing a therapist when she worries that Carol is getting bored with their relationship. In an attempt to take Jack’s advice, Liz begins talking to Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) about her problems. Jack also finds himself caught up in one of Tracy’s (Tracy Morgan) schemes when Tracy tries to convince him to invest in his son’s theme restaurant in Times Square. Meanwhile, Jenna (Jane Krakowski) and Paul (guest star Will Forte) celebrate their six month anniversary. Also starring: Judah Friedlander, Scott Adsit, Keith Powell and Katrina Bowden.

Detectives Lupo (Jeremy Sisto) and Bernard (Anthony Anderson) investigate the possible hit-and-run death of the mistress of failed investment bank CEO, Peter Gardner (Guest Star Michael Gaston). As they investigate, they uncover a kidnapping and extortion plot leading them to a number of possible suspects, including a disgruntled client, Davey Burke (Guest Star Jon Prescott). The detectives also uncover a connection between Carlos Padilla (Guest Star E. J. Bonilla), one of the boys who discovered the woman’'s body, and Ronny Addison, the director of an after school program for juvenile offenders who may have a connection to Burke. ADA’s Michael Cutter (Linus Roache) and Connie Rubirosa (Alana de la Garza) must deal with conflicting alibis as they attempt to try the case. Also starring S. Epatha Merkerson and Sam Waterston.
