Melanie Wilson
Melanie Wilson was an accomplished actress, noted for her comedic timing in her roles for television shows. Wilson began her acting career playing characters on a variety of series including "Hollywood Beat" (1985-86), "Perfect Strangers" (ABC, 1985-1993) and "Family Matters" (CBS, 1989-1998). She continued to work steadily in television throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing on "Step by Step" (CBS, 1991-98) and "Mind of Mencia" (Comedy Central, 2004-08). During these years, she additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in "Facing the Enemy" (2002) with Linden Ashby. Wilson also created music for "Born Into Exile" (NBC, 1996-97). Wilson most recently appeared in "Prayers for Bobby" (Lifetime, 2008-09).
