Meera Simhan
Meera Simhan was an actress who worked in television most of her Hollywood career. Simhan's acting career began with roles on several shows, including "NYPD Blue" (1993-2005), "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009) and "The Practice" (ABC, 1997-2004). She also appeared in "Gideon's Crossing" (2000-01), "The District" (CBS, 2000-04) and "MDs" (ABC, 2002). She continued to work steadily in television throughout the early 2000s, appearing on "Cold Case" (CBS, 2003-2010). In the early 2000s, she acted in the Alyson Hannigan romantic comedy "Date Movie" (2006) and the Robert Downey Jr. hit action film "Iron Man" (2008). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Cold Case" (CBS, 2003-2010). In the 2010s, she then appeared in "Hello I Must Be Going" (2012) and the dramatic comedy "Baby Steps" (2015) with Grace Guei. She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "New Girl" (Fox, 2011-). She also lent her distinctive voice to the Suraj Sharma blockbuster dramatic adaptation "Life of Pi" (2012). Simhan most recently acted in "Miss India America" (2016).
