Meagan Holder
Known to many as the sidekick Kelly on the series "Born Again Virgin," (TV One, 2015-), Meagan Holder was born in Los Angeles, California. Some early cinematic experiences, such as watching the movie "Scarface" (1983) with her father at age eight, left an impression on the young Holder. After graduating from California State University, Fullerton, where she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority, Holder began pursuing a career in acting. Her first break came in 2009, when she appeared on an episode of "90210" (CW, 2008-2013). She soon followed this with an appearance in the comedy "You Again" (2010) alongside Kristen Bell, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Sigourney Weaver. The following year, she appeared in a memorable arc on the Sarah Michelle Gellar led series "Ringer" (CW, 2011-2012) and then made an appearance in the thriller "Dark Power" (2013). She next gave a performance as a jazz singer in the big screen adaptation of the Broadway musical "Jersey Boys" (2014). Holder would make several more TV appearances on shows like "Key and Peele" (Comedy Central, 2012-15) and "Switched at Birth" (ABC Family, 2011-17) before landing her role on "Born Again Virgin" in 2015. Another big break would come the following year, when Holder's pilot for the baseball themed series "Pitch" (Fox, 2016-17) was picked up for series.
