McKell David
McKell David was born in the United Kingdom to a family with roots in Barbados, Italy, Liberia, and Japan. He took to performance from an early age, appearing in unscripted YouTube videos shot by his father, and going on to train at the London-based Identity School of Acting. David began nabbing professional acting roles in his early teens, beginning with a part on the acclaimed anthology series "Black Mirror" (Channel 4/Netflix 2011-). He amounted additional roles over the coming years, such as in the horror feature "My Brother the Devil" (2012) and in the TV movie "Our Girl" (BBC 2013). David's career began to take on new momentum in 2014, at which point he earned the spotlight in the annual UK Stars of Tomorrow photo shoot. He began appearing in a recurring role on the long running British medical drama "Holby City" (BBC One 1999-). Shortly thereafter, David starred opposite Lars Mikkelsen in the title role of the action drama "Montana" (2014). This led to additional feature roles, including a part in the ensemble comedy-drama film "Legacy" (2015).
