Mazin Elsadig
TV actor Mazin Elsadig is best known for his roles on the show "Degrassi: The Next Generation" and in the film "Jump In!" A Chicago native, he had a guest role in the Billy Ray Cyrus show "Doc" in 2004 and a bit part in the TV horror movie "Swarmed." In 2007 he appeared in the Disney TV movie "Jump In!" and began his role as Damian Hayes in the Canadian drama "Degrassi: The Next Generation." After leaving the show he worked on the animated family comedy "Stoked"--another Canadian show--as the voice of Broseph and had a four-episode stint on the action drama "The Line" in 2008. Elsadig has also been involved in short-film production in several capacities. He acted with "Degrassi" colleague Al Mukadam in both "Uniform" and "Mookie's Law," and produced four of Mukadam's short films between 2008 and 2010. He also produced and directed the documentary "Welcome Back," about a Sudanese-Canadian exile.
