Max Wall

Max Wall, a British-born actor, appeared in a variety of movies throughout his Hollywood career. Wall began his acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the comedic adaptation "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" (1968) with Dick Van Dyke, "The Nine Ages of Nakedness" (1969) featuring George Harrison Marks and the Helen Hayes comedy "One of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing" (1975). He had a part on the television special "A Killer in Every Corner" (ABC, 1974-75). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Jabberwocky" (1977), "The Hound of the Baskervilles" (1978) with Peter Cook and "Hanover Street" (1979) with Harrison Ford. He also appeared in the TV special "Mrs. Capper's Birthday" (PBS, 1986-87). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in the Alan Bates dramedy "We Think the World of You" (1988), the adventurous drama "Dark River" (1990) with Tom Bell and the comedy "Strike It Rich" (1990) with Molly Ringwald. Wall was most recently credited in the documentary "The Filth and the Fury" (2000) with Johnny Rotten. Wall passed away in May 1990 at the age of 82.
