Max Julien

Max Julien was an actor who made a successful career for himself in film. Julien began his acting career by debuting in films like "The Black Klansman" (1966) with Richard Gilden and Rima Kutner and "Psych-Out" (1968) with Susan Strasberg and Dean Stockwell. He also appeared in the TV movie "Deadlock" (NBC, 1968-69). He kept working in film throughout the sixties and the seventies, starring in the Raymond St Jacques dramatic adaptation "Uptight" (1968) and the dramedy "Getting Straight" (1970) with Elliott Gould. During the latter half of his career, he continued to act in "The Mack" (1973) and "Thomasine & Bushrod" (1974). Julien acted in the comedy "How to Be A Player" (1997) with Bill Bellamy. Max Julien died on January 1, 2022 in Los Angeles, CA at the age of 88.
