Matty Kemp

Matty Kemp was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Kemp's career in acting began with his roles in various films like "The Goodbye Kiss" (1928), the adaptation "Common Clay" (1930) with Constance Bennett and the Lloyd Hughes adventure "Air Eagles" (1931). He also appeared in "City Streets" (1931). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the comedy "Down to Earth" (1932) with Will Rogers, "Probation" (1932) and "Tess of the Storm Country" (1932). He also appeared in "Wine, Women, and Song" (1933). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Tango" (1936), the Andy Clyde comedy "Red Lights Ahead" (1937) and the sports comedy "Million Dollar Legs" (1939) with Betty Grable. Kemp last wrote the Jane Russell musical "The French Line" (1954). Kemp passed away in December 1999 at the age of 92.
