Matthew Newton
Throughout his entertainment career as an accomplished actor, Matt Newton graced the silver screen many times. Newton worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Looking for Alibrandi" with Anthony LaPaglia (2000), "Money & Power: The History of Business" (CNBC, 2000-01) and "My Mother Frank" (1999) starring Sam Neill. He also contributed to "Napoleon" (PBS, 2000-01), "Old Man Dogs" with Bill McNally (1997) and "Strangers With Candy" (Comedy Central, 1998-2001). He continued to act in productions like "Blurred" (2002), the Ryan Reynolds comedy adaptation "National Lampoon's Van Wilder" (2002) and the Stuart Townsend action picture "Queen of the D*mned" (2002). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars" (2004-05). Recently, he tackled roles in the Ione Skye drama "My Father's Will" (2007), "The Bet" (2007) and the Noni Hazlehurst drama "Bitter & Twisted" (2008). He also appeared in the dramatic comedy "Three Blind Mice" (2008) with Ewen Leslie. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Underbelly" (Nine Network, 2008-2014). Most recently, Newton acted in "Face to Face" (2011).
