Maryedith Burrell

Actress Maryedith Burrell was widely known for her presence on the silver screen. Burrell started off her acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in "Wholly Moses!" (1980) featuring Dudley Moore, the Sally Field comedy "Kiss Me Goodbye" (1982) and "Big Trouble" (1985). She also appeared in the Lissa Layng comedy "Say Yes" (1986). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including parts on "Fridays" (ABC, 1979-1982) and "Remington Steele" (NBC, 1982-87). In the eighties and the nineties, Burrell devoted her time to various credits, such as "Throb" "The Dancing Princess" (Showtime, 1987-88) and "Eve of Destruction" with Gregory Hines (1991). She also worked on "Hot Chocolate" (1992). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in the Martha Plimpton drama "Samantha" (1992), "Camp Nowhere" (1994) with Jonathan Jackson and the David Arquette sports comedy "Ready to Rumble" (2000). She held additional roles in television including a part on "The Jackie Thomas Show" (ABC, 1992-93). Most recently, Burrell produced "Crazy Christmas Lights" (TLC, 2006-07).
