Martyn Sanderson
Martyn Sanderson was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Sanderson's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the western "Ned Kelly" (1970) with Mick Jagger, "Solo" (1977) and "The Journalist" (1979). He also appeared in the Robert Shannon drama "Squeeze" (1980), the thriller "The Lost Tribe" (1982) with John Bach and the Keith Aberdein drama "Wild Horses" (1982). In the eighties, Sanderson devoted his time to various credits, such as "Patu!" (1983) starring Merata Mita, "Utu" with Anzac Wallace (1983) and "Pallet on the Floor" with Bruce Spence (1984). He also worked on "Trial Run" (1984) starring Annie Whittle. Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in the adventurous drama "The Tale of Ruby Rose" (1989) with Melita Jurisic, the dramatic adaptation "Flying Fox in a Freedom Tree" (1990) with Faifua Amiga Jr. and the Kerry Fox dramatic adaptation "Angel At My Table" (1991). He also appeared in "Old Scores" (1991) and "Desperate Remedies" (1994). Sanderson most recently acted in the Elijah Wood smash hit action film "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" (2001).
