Marty Ryan

Actor Marty Ryan was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. Ryan worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Kull the Conqueror" with Kevin Sorbo (1997), "Main Street" (NBC, 1985-88) and "Mystery Men" (1999) starring Hank Azaria. He also contributed to "Nowhere Man" (UPN, 1995-96), "Today at 35" (NBC, 1986-87) and "Today at Night, Volume II" (NBC, 1986-87). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Runaway Virus" (ABC, 1999-2000). His career progressed to film, including a role in the Mark Wahlberg box office smash action movie "The Italian Job" (2003). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC, 2004-). Ryan continued to exercise his talent in the early 2000s and the 2010s, taking on a mix of projects like "The New Adventures of Old Christine" (CBS, 2005-2010), "Dirt" (FX, 2006-08) and "Fashion House" (2006-07). His credits also expanded to "Watch Over Me" (MyNetwork TV, 2006-07) and "Workaholics" (Comedy Central, 2010-17). Ryan most recently acted on "Perception" (TNT, 2011-14). Ryan was nominated for an Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special Primetime Emmy Award for "Brothers & Sisters" in 2010.
