Mark Jenkins

Mark Jenkins was a prolific actor who created a name for himself largely on the big screen. Jenkins kickstarted his acting career with films like "Riverrun" (1970) with Louise Ober and John McLiam and "Doctors' Wives" (1971) with Dyan Cannon. He also appeared in the TV movie "Incident on a Dark Street" (NBC, 1972-73). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Man From Atlantis" (NBC, 1976-77). His career progressed to film, including a role in the Jon Voight drama "Desert Bloom" (1986). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Young Dr. Kildare" (1972-73). Jenkins had a number of different projects under his belt in the eighties and the nineties, including "Stacking" (1987), "Life on Ice: Antarctica and Mars" (PBS, 1989-1990) and "Space Age" (PBS, 1992-93). Most recently, Jenkins wrote the Jean-Marc Barr dramatic adaptation "The Scarlet Tunic" (1997).
