Mario David

Mario David was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, David appeared in such films as "Web of Passion" (1961) with Madeleine Robinson, "The Vanishing Corporal" (1962) with Jean-Pierre Cassel and "Bluebeard" (1962) with Michèle Morgan. He also appeared in the action film "The Tiger Likes Fresh Blood" (1964) with Roger Hanin and "La Ligne de Demarcation" (1966). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the seventies, appearing in the thriller "La Rupture" (1970) with Stephane Audran, "Borsalino" (1970) and the comedy adventure "L' Explosion" (1971) with Frederic dePasquale. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Isabelle Huppert crime picture "Violette" (1978), the comedy "Coup de Tete" (1980) with Patrick Dewaere and "The Flying Devils" (1985). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "L' Inconnu dans la Maison" (1992) with Jean-Paul Belmondo. David most recently appeared on the Bérénice Béjo documentary "Henri-George Clouzot's Inferno" (2010).
