Marilyn Jones

Marilyn Jones's success as an actress began when she was a mere 16 years old. Jones's early roles were in comedies like the James Garner film "Support Your Local Sheriff" (1969), "Serail" (1976) with Leslie Caron and "The Scenic Route" (1978) starring Randy Danson. She also appeared in the TV movie "11th Victim" (CBS, 1979-1980). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "M*A*S*H" (CBS, 1972-1983). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in the Mark Arnott comedy "Chain Letters" (1985) and the David Dukes drama "The Men's Club" (1986). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "I, Desire" (ABC, 1982-83). She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "King's Crossing" (ABC, 1981-82). Jones's music was also featured in the romance "The Big Easy" (1987) with Dennis Quaid, the comedy "Satisfaction" (1988) with Justine Bateman and the Dustin Hoffman smash hit drama "Rain Man" (1988). In addition to her music, Jones also appeared on-screen in the drama "On the Block" (1990) with Howard E Rollins Jr. Jones more recently appeared in "Coopersmith" (CBS, 1991-92).
