Mariana Klaveno
Born and raised in Washington State, Mariana Klaveno attended the University of Washington in Seattle, where she received a B.A. in Theater. After graduation she pursued her passion in Los Angeles. After landing a couple of small parts, Klaveno received her first major exposure when she appeared in a guest role on "Alias" (ABC, 2001-06). She continued to make guest appearances on shows like "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009), "Hawaii 5-0" (CBS, 2010-), and a two-episode arc on "Dexter" (Showtime, 2006-13), until she appeared in "True Blood" (HBO, 2008-14). On the southern-set vampire series, Klaveno appeared in the first season and became a regular during seasons two and three. Klaveno's next series regular role was on "Devious Maids" (Lifetime, 2013-16). On the show, Klaveno played one of the antagonists, a wicked wealthy wife, who conspires to deport the maid who witnessed her infidelity. Klaveno's character divorced and moved away during the second season of the show. In "Stalker" (CBS, 2014-15) Klaveno found another series regular role, this time in a unique detective show. Created by Kevin Williamson, the show features Dylan McDermott, Maggie Q, Victor Rasuk, and Klaveno as detectives in the LAPD Threat Assessment Unit. Although the show was popular with audiences, critics did not respond well and the show was not renewed for a second season.
