Margaret Irving

Margaret Irving was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Irving began her acting career with roles in such films as the Groucho Marx comedy "Animal Crackers" (1930), the Dick Powell musical "Thanks a Million" (1935) and "Captain Calamity" (1936). She also appeared in the Warner Oland mystery "Charlie Chan at the Opera" (1936). Her film career continued throughout the thirties in productions like "I Married a Doctor" (1936), "San Francisco" (1936) and "Three Men on a Horse" (1936). She also appeared in "Men in Exile" (1937). Nearing the end of her career, she continued to act in "Wife, Doctor, and Nurse" (1937), "The Baroness and the Butler" (1938) and the mystery "Mr. Moto's Last Warning" (1939) with Peter Lorre. She also appeared in the comedy "In Society" (1944) with Bud Abbott. Irving last acted on "The People's Choice" (CBS, 1955-58). Irving passed away in March 1988 at the age of 90.
