When Liz (Tina Fey) meets her idol, Rosemary Howard (Guest Star Carrie Fisher), she invites her to be a guest writer on the show. However, Rosemary's radical ideas that Liz grew up admiring are now too controversial for Liz's NBC show. When Liz refuses to fire Rosemary, Jack (Alec Baldwin) pressures Liz, who promptly quits. Jack brings Tracy (Tracy Morgan) to a therapist to figure out why he must do the opposite of what he is told. Meanwhile, after Jenna (Jane Krakowski) ruins Kenneth's (Jack McBrayer) page jacket, Kenneth must compete in a page-off in order to keep his job. Carrie Fisher guest stars; Scott Adsit, Judah Friedlander, Lonny Ross, Katrina Bowden, John Lutz, Maulik Pancholy, Kevin Brown and Grizz Chapman also star.

Jack (Alec Baldwin) recommends that Liz (Tina Fey) start seeing a therapist when she worries that Carol is getting bored with their relationship. In an attempt to take Jack’s advice, Liz begins talking to Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) about her problems. Jack also finds himself caught up in one of Tracy’s (Tracy Morgan) schemes when Tracy tries to convince him to invest in his son’s theme restaurant in Times Square. Meanwhile, Jenna (Jane Krakowski) and Paul (guest star Will Forte) celebrate their six month anniversary. Also starring: Judah Friedlander, Scott Adsit, Keith Powell and Katrina Bowden.

Liz’s (Tina Fey) scripted version of Jack and Avery’s love story leaves Jack (Alec Baldwin) confused and frustrated by his feelings for Diana (Mary Steenburgen). Meanwhile, Jenna (Jane Krakowski) and Tracy (Tracy Morgan) attempt to beat Weird Al Yankovic (guest starring as himself) at his own game, and Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) gets an unexpected new job at NBC.
