Marcc Rose

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Marcc Rose was inspired by his grandmother, who came to the United States on her own as a young woman, searching for a better life. Rose decided that his path to a better life would come by devoting his time to learning the craft of acting. His determination as well as his uncanny resemblance to Tupac Shakur, led him to be cast in a cameo role as the rapper in the Academy Award-nominated film "Straight Outta Compton" (2015). In 2017, it was announced that Rose would reprise the role, this time in a series exploring the unsolved murders of Shakur and fellow rapper Biggie Smalls. The show, "Unsolved," was set to premiere on the USA Network in 2018.
