Manuel Uriza
Actor Manuel Enrique Uriza's career trajectory carried him from numerous appearances in telenovelas and other Spanish-language television series to character turns as men of authority on both sides of the law in English-language network programs like "The Bridge" (FX, 2013-2014), "Better Call Saul" (AMC, 2015-) and "Snowfall" (FX, 2017-). For the better part of the early 2000s, Uriza played bit parts in short films and Spanish-language television series like "Falling Angel" (Telemundo Network, 2009-) and "Una Maid en Manhattan" (Telemundo Network, 2011-). In 2010, he made his English-language television debut on an episode of "Burn Notice" (USA Network, 2007-2013), and soon added appearances on "Magic City" (Starz, 2012-2013) and other network and cable programs. His career soon advanced to recurring roles, most notably as a Mexican state prosecutor on "The Bridge," a sympathetic but ill-fated drug trafficker on "Better Call Saul," and the real-life revolutionary Anciento Pizana on "The Son" (AMC, 2017-). In 2017, Uriza earned his first series regular role in an English-language series when he was cast as a cocaine dealer on "Snowfall," a crime drama about the rise of crack cocaine in 1980s Los Angeles from producer John Singleton.
